Brem Foundation’s Policy for Protecting Your Online Privacy
This privacy policy is applicable to the Brem Foundation to Defeat Breast Cancer’s (hereafter “Brem Foundation”) mobile application, CheckMate. Brem Foundation is a 501 (C)(3) charitable organization dedicated to maximizing women’s chances of finding early, curable breast cancer through education, access and advocacy.
You must agree to the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy in order to receive your survey. Brem Foundation may, at any time, without notice to you and in its sole discretion, amend this policy from time to time. Please review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our application after any such amendment signifies your acceptance thereof.
Brem Foundation has contracted with an email vendor that will send you your survey results. The email vendor will only access the information you submit on the application in order to email you your results and will securely store your data for a limited period of time. Brem Foundation will only receive aggregate de-identified survey results and will neither receive nor have access to any information linking your survey results with your Personally Identifiable Information, as defined below.
Checkmate uses Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the application. Google Analytics gathers information about users as they interact with CheckMate by using similar technologies as "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer or mobile device. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including IP address) is transmitted to Google and its vendors, who are also obligated to keep this information confidential. This information is then used to evaluate visitors' use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity for Brem Foundation.
User’s Personal Information Collected
Visitors to our website may be able to register to use our services or upload/download information. When you register, you will provide personal information such as your name, email, or other relevant information (“Personally Identifiable Information”). By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you provide your consent to have your name and email address added to the Brem Foundation’s marketing list.
Brem Foundation and its vendors will not disclose Personally Identifiable Information collected from you to third parties without your permission except to the extent necessary, including: to defend Brem Foundation in connection with any legal proceeding or governmental investigation, to fulfill your requests, to protect ourselves from liability, to comply with the terms and conditions of our internet host provider, to comply with applicable law, or a court order, subpoena, governmental investigation or other proceeding, and in connection with a governmental investigation or court proceeding, including in situations where we are defending Brem Foundation.
Brem Foundation and its vendors will not associate your IP address with any other data held on Brem Foundation’s behalf. Neither we nor our vendors will link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any Personally Identifiable Information from any source, unless you explicitly submit that information via a fill-in form on our website.
Brem Foundation will collect and store de-identified information from users who utilize the mobile application. Brem Foundation reserves the right to evaluate and sell this information at will.
